Someone has really gained a lot of power with this neurobiological idea with the pharmaceutical industry, and they do not want to give up this power. Tom invited our team to visit and explain our work, and we invited Tom to visit us.

Yes, I’m sure even Plato suffered such disinterest on the part of his students, which would most likely explain the antics of his pupil, Diogenes, who ran into Plato’s seminar with a plucked chicken crying: Behold! What is a teacher to make of such foolishness, or of such contempt for learning?

The profession needs to keep the truth out of sight, even to itself, and it is not presented in psychiatric textbooks or in continuing medical education seminars. A 2022 misleading seminar in The Lancet about suicide A recent Lancet seminar was yet another proof that psychiatry has degenerated to a point from which there is no return.

A focus on depression in Australia corresponded with similar campaigns in the US and the UK in the 1980s and 1990s.

11] A 2022 Lancet seminar was yet another proof that psychiatry has degenerated to a point of no return. The seminar, Suicide and self-harm , [12] was very long, 14 pages, but is one of the worst articles about suicide I have ever seen, which I explained on the Mad in America website. [13] No surprise there. This is dishonest.
